Can you commit to complete 26 weeks of intensive training?
The Community Trades pre-Apprenticeship Project offers a 26-week curriculum for skill development and on-the-job training in the basics of Plumbing or Painting, Decorator trades. The goal of The Community Trades pre-Apprenticeship Project is to include a holistic approach to the pre-apprenticeship career path with Job Readiness, Math and English enhancement to refresh the student's academics. Students are provided case management and upon successful completion of the 26-week curriculum are further assisted with job placement with union sponsorship.
Are You Eligible?
To be eligible you must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
and in the age group of 23-35
Must be able to lift 50- 75 pounds
Must past drug tests
Social Security Card
Birth Certificate
Proof of address, (i.e. utility bill, rent receipt)
Photo I. D. (State)
(No sexual crimes, ex-offenders must be released from supervision for a 1-year minimum)
